I look up to birds not only because they are usually flying above me but they make challenging things look effortless, like standing on a wire.

Penguins are crucial because they are unyieldingly optimistic.

My cat wakes me up really early whenever it’s sunny outside. She’d watch in the window as I leave the house making sure I don’t waste a perfectly bright day full of wonderful possibilities.

It all works.

A view from the window seat at this rather quaint establishment.  Looking out at this quiet yet well travelled intersection, everything about it has a rich past.  From the concrete slabs to the flickering leftover Christmas lights in front of me all have their own marks of wins and losses, and it all works perfectly together in making the world turn round.

I’ve been battling a cold, spending way too much time hidden in bed.  My cat shows concern.

Here’s a view looking out from the window seats.  A nice view of new things going up while old things continuing to stand their grounds.  All the while pigeons buddies hang out making remarks on the rooftops.
